ABD Engineering & Design provided a noise study and acoustical consulting for SERA Design and Architecture’s first phase of the Eugene River District Plan.
ABD’s noise study and recommendations for the facade, window glazing performance, and roof deck addressed potential noise intrusion from the nearby rail line and elevated roadway near the Ferry Street Bridge.
Interior acoustical consulting included room acoustics for the common areas, noise isolation between units and unit/common areas, with mechanical noise control throughout.
Once fully developed, SERA’s Master Plan for the River District will include 500-1,000 new market-rate apartments in studio and one/two-bedrooms, alongside amenities like a rooftop terrace, bike and pet-friendly resources with views of the Willamette River.
