ABD Engineering & Design worked closely with the Peace Church leadership and technical staff, along with Dan Vos Construction company on this expansion and renovation project.
The church embarked on a two-year “Proclaim” fundraising effort to undertake the project, doubling the size of the 600-seat sanctuary to 1,200 seats. The state-of-the-art sanctuary expansion also created a new entry, fellowship, and cafe spaces. High-end audiovisual design and acoustics were critical to the spaces.
ABD’s acoustical consulting services included mechanical noise control throughout, room acoustics for the expanded sanctuary, fellowship, and entry, with noise isolation focused on the cry room and sanctuary green room.
AV design for the new systems and the infrastructure to support those systems features the 25’x14’ LED wall, two 18’x10’ side-screens, plus three 12’x6’ confidence screens, immersive sound, cameras and streaming.
