Henry MoeAcoustical Consultant
Henry Moe is an acoustical consultant with a Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering from Seattle Pacific University. During Henry’s time at SPU, he developed his own program in acoustics. His studies included diffraction and repetition pitch effects through impulse response measurements, and analyzing and modeling continuous and discrete-time systems to understand signal behavior, filtering, and system response. Henry conducted a study measuring classroom acoustic factors and background noise. Since joining the ABD Acoustics Team, Henry has worked on projects in a variety of environments: K-12, higher education, government, workplace, residential, and healthcare projects and is developing as an acoustical consultant. Henry has particularly enjoyed working on performance and education spaces because he can combine his life-long experience as a musician and new expertise in acoustics. In Henry’s spare time he plays the double bass, guitar, piano, sings, and is in a chess club in Portland.
