
Justin MeyerDirector of Acoustics
Justin Meyer has worked as an acoustical consultant since 2008, and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics, with an emphasis in Acoustics. Justin has completed projects for The U.S. Military, Healthcare Facilities, Universities, Corporate and Industrial Facilities, Public Schools, State Governments, Museums, Laboratories, Churches, and Residential Communities. Justin has worked on both Acoustics and Audio Visual (AV) projects, taking the lead project manager role in both disciplines. His experience includes Room Acoustics, Sound Isolation, Mechanical Noise Control, Industrial Noise, Vibration Control, and Environmental Noise. In his career, Justin has written, published, and presented a variety of white papers, along with articles in Building Magazine, the Acoustical Society of America, and the Institute of Noise Control Engineers. Justin has also provided expert witness testimony, for acoustics, in legal cases. An avid musician, Justin plays piano, guitar and the banjo. In addition to spending time with his family, he donates his time to local churches and Kids’ Food Basket.
